About Us
Life is very short—don’t forget to live it.
Cigar Mafia is not a storefront with a clever name. It is a family. A culture. A table that keeps getting bigger. We sell premium cigars and apparel, yes, but what we actually build is connection. The kind that starts with two friends lighting up after a Bills game and ends with strangers becoming brothers over a slow burn.
Who the Dons Are
The Dons are Dennis Scovazzo and Kevin Reinhart: two kids who met in sixth grade and never really left each other’s side. School, sports, parties, work, gray hair, and more expensive cigars. Distance never broke it. For thirty years they have watched every Buffalo Bills game together. When life scattered them, they turned those games into Mafia-style trips (Las Vegas, New Orleans, New York, Houston) celebrating football, friendship, and the fact that loyalty does not expire.
They worked together, learned business together, and spent nights talking through smoke until one idea stuck: build something that felt like them. Not a catalog. A family. Cigar Mafia was born from that table: relaxation, camaraderie, and celebrating life’s wins without rushing the moment.
A cigar, to the Dons, is never just tobacco. It is time you refuse to hurry. It is the pause that makes room for the people who matter. Like a good cigar, friendship and family should never be rushed or taken for granted.
The Mafia Is a Family, Not a Checkout Page
When you join Cigar Mafia you are not a customer ID. You sit with the Family. The Syndicate is our code: premium leaf, unshakeable loyalty to the craft, and swagger that does not need to shout. House blends like The Capo and Sweet Victory live next to names the world already respects: Arturo Fuente, Davidoff, and the rest of the extraordinary.
We treat every order the way we treat a guest at the table: discretion, respect, and the good stuff only. Dons, Ambassadors, first-timers lighting their first stick: same Family. The culture is the product. The cigars just give it a burn.
Cigars as Connection
We see cigars the way the Dons always have: as a version of family. You do not smoke a great cigar alone in a hurry. You sit. You talk. You remember why you showed up. Wins get toasted. Losses get processed. New people get pulled into the circle because someone passed them a stick and said sit down.
That is the ritual we protect. Slow. Intentional. Shared. Whether it is a warehouse drop, a tailgate, a lounge night, or a quiet porch after dark, the Family is the point.
Partnerships & the Ambassadors
A family that does not grow is just a club. Ours keeps opening the door.
Leading that charge is our top Ambassador and original Mafia Boss, Stevie Johnson: former Buffalo Bills wide receiver, first in franchise history with three straight 1,000-yard seasons, founder of Club HBHF (Handle Biz, Have Fun). Stevie has been in the smoke from the beginning: face of Sweet Victory, partner at events from Orchard Park to Vegas kickoff parties, and the guy who still answers the call when the Family shows up for more than a party. He has stood with the Dons at Cigar Mafia House gatherings, Bills Mafia celebrations, and community work that goes past the ashtray, including time with men rebuilding their lives after incarceration. Once Mafia, always Mafia. Stevie lives that line.
Around him the table keeps filling:
- Lord Waya — music, bars, and a lane that does not slow down.
- Matti Rouse — Buffalo fashion, leather, and longtime local style.
- Mike Florio — NFL voice, Sick Podcast / Bills Banter with Stevie, regular at the events.
- Rochelle Sims — Buffalo media, The Lounge, culture platforms built with athletes and artists.
- Fans of Buffalo, Buffalo Tailgate, Mafia Manor, Sin City Bills Backers — the road crew and the house near the stadium.
- Buffalo Cigars, Coolie Hi, HBHF, SBC, So Buffalo By Design — shops, mentorship, apparel, and the businesses that keep the Family sharp.
These are not logos on a footer. They are people who live the code: loyalty, culture, quality, legacy.
How the Family Spreads
The Family grows the same way it started: one table, one trip, one introduction at a time. House blends leaving Western New York. Events that turn Bills weekends into Cigar Mafia weekends. Affiliates and lounges picking up Capo and Sweet Victory. Ambassadors carrying the brand into sports, music, fashion, and rooms we have not sat in yet.
Nicaragua named us Brand of the Year for a reason: the leaf is real. The reason people stay is the culture. We are still looking for the next person who understands that distinction: affiliates, ambassadors, partners who want a seat, not a transaction.
Light up. Sit down. The Dons already saved you a chair.
Welcome to the Family.
