While there may be some debate as to whether the wrapper is the most important component of a cigar’s flavor, Saint Luis Rey chose to name their 2017 release “Natural Broadleaf” after the thick and oily, sun grown wrapper that covers this premium cigar. Saint Luis Rey Natural Broadleaf cigars join the popular Saint Luis Rey lineup, as another affordable premium smoke.
The Saint Luis Rey Natural Broadleaf wrapper covers a Nicaraguan Criollo ’98 binder and a core of all Honduran filer tobaccos. The result is a full-bodied cigar with notes of chocolate, peppery spice, wood, toasted almonds, and coffee. These Natural Broadleaf cigars come in boxes of 25, with three big-ring sizes all made at the Flor de Copan factory in Honduras.
