Macanudo Estate Reserve Flint Knoll No. 2 Cigars manage to impart even more sophistication than its predecessor through expert craftsmanship. While wine is often seen as incompatible with cigars, Macanudo found a way to prepare its tobacco to complement the best qualities of an aged vintage.
The Estate Reserve Flint Knoll No.2 creates this unique thanks to its specially aged Connecticut Broadleaf binder. Before blending, the binder is fermented in the same French Oak barrels used to store Flin Knoll's renowned Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. This process allows the tobacco to take on some of the nuances usually only seen in the finest wines.
Inside each cigar is a rich assortment of Brazilian Mata Fina, Dominican Olor, Nicaraguan Jalapa, and Dominican Piloto Cubano tobacco. All of it is housed inside a smooth and creamy Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper. The end result is a medium bodied smoke tinged with the regal taste of vanilla, toasted almonds, dark currants, and spiced cedar. Perfect for pairing with a bold selection of wine or a nice aged whiskey.
